Our story began in 2022, in the midst of the global pandemic, when a group of Nepali women artisans came together to create something special. They had a shared passion for traditional craftsmanship and a desire to support their families and communities during these difficult times.
Together, they began making beautiful handmade bracelets using traditional techniques and locally sourced materials. Each bracelet was a unique work of art, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Nepal and the creativity of its people.
As they worked, they began to realize the potential of their craft. They saw that by creating beautiful and meaningful accessories, they could not only support themselves and their families but also contribute to the local economy and the wider community.
And so, in 2022, our handmade Nepali bracelet brand was born as Beadsjoy (Beads for Joy and happiness). We are a small, women-led company dedicated to creating beautiful, high-quality bracelets that are handmade in Nepal by local artisans. Our goal is to support these women and their families, while also promoting traditional craftsmanship and the unique beauty of Nepali culture.
We believe in sustainable, ethical production practices, which is why we source our materials locally and work closely with the artisans who create our bracelets.
