✨ THE STORY OF LOKTA PAPER
Each lampshade is made from the fibrous bark of the Daphne bush, which grows at high altitudes in the Himalayas.
Eco-Friendly & Sustainable: The bark is harvested without destroying the tree, allowing it to regenerate naturally. The paper is produced entirely without electricity, using ancient sun-drying techniques.
Durable & Unique: Lokta paper is acid-free and naturally resistant to humidity and insects, making it far more durable than standard paper shades. Its unique, long-fiber texture creates a beautiful, diffused light that is easy on the eyes.
💡 INSTALLATION & STYLING
To achieve the best atmosphere, we recommend using a Warm White LED bulb. The natural fibers of the Nepali Kagaj will catch the warm tones, highlighting the beautiful imperfections of the handmade paper.
